Our Story

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chashak is an competitive event that commemorates the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Through this tournament, we aim to develop the bonding of CA, CMA, and CS professional students while fostering community collaboration. Participants have the opportunity to gain valuable experiences and engage in meaningful interactions with one another.

Born from a passion for cricket and a deep respect for Maharashtra's rich history, this unique tournament celebrates both sport and heritage. Inspired by the legendary forts built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, we bring together professional students across 8 teams, each representing a historic fort. What started as a dream has now completed two successful seasons with 64+ players, celebrating community, equality, competitive spirit, and cultural pride.

February, 2024

Season 1 - The Beginning

छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज चषक was launched with 6 teams and 48 players. The inaugural season set the foundation for what would become a beloved local tournament.

September, 2024

Season 2 - Growing Stronger

Increased participation, better organization, and unforgettable matches. With 2 more teams added, Season 2 proved that छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज चषक was here to stay.

February, 2026
